Corscale Court Lane data-centre campus

Corscale’s planned Court Lane campus at Iver would replace a 14-acre industrial estate beside the M25 with two data-centre buildings and an on-site substation.[1]

Current position

McLaren Construction and Phoenix ME were appointed under a pre-construction services agreement. Their announcement scheduled site clearance and enabling works from 1 July 2026 and targeted practical completion in the fourth quarter of 2029.

Benefits

  • The dedicated substation is rated at 140 MVA. Early works are planned to relocate two 36-inch Affinity Water mains and remediate the former industrial site.
  • Corscale lists 103 MW of power capacity for Court Lane, while McLaren describes a 140 MW campus. Neither source explains the difference or identifies the figure as IT load.
