Harker Battery Storage (formerly Blackdyke Farm)
Zenobē’s planned 400 MW / 800 MWh Harker battery-storage facility was developed by Innova as Blackdyke BESS and acquired in August 2025. The marker uses Zenobē’s published site grid reference, identifying the project site rather than a surveyed battery-unit position.[1][2][3]
Current position
Zenobē lists main construction from Q1 2027 and commercial operation in late 2028 or early 2029. Its programme schedules initial site-entrance works from August 2026, but their completion or commencement has not been independently confirmed.
Benefits
- The planned battery will store surplus renewable electricity and provide grid-balancing services at the Harker transmission-network connection.
