Alcemi’s Kintore project is a grid-connected battery development south of Kintore in Aberdeenshire.[1][2]

Current position

Grid connection is scheduled for October 2029. A separate whole-battery operational completion date is not confirmed.

300 MW of planned battery power to support grid balancing and renewable electricity integration.
