Ellison Institute of Technology Oxford
The Ellison Institute of Technology is building an interdisciplinary research and technology campus in Littlemore, at The Oxford Science Park. The University of Oxford reports that construction of the initial campus is expected to cost more than £1 billion.[1][2]
Current position
EIT marked the topping out of Littlemore House, the highest point of construction, as a campus construction milestone.
Why it matters
The initial Littlemore campus brings laboratories, education and collaboration space together at The Oxford Science Park. EIT has also described a much larger expansion across additional land. These are different phases: a target date for the initial buildings should not be taken as the opening date for every part of the later estate.
