Outer Dowsing 1.5 GW Windfarm
Outer Dowsing is a planned offshore wind farm developed jointly by TotalEnergies, Macquarie interests and Gulf Energy Development.[1]
Current position
Outer Dowsing received development consent on 10 February 2026 for a 1.5 GW offshore wind farm. Construction could begin in 2027, with first power expected in 2030.
Benefits
- The developer estimates annual generation equivalent to the electricity use of more than 1.6 million households.
