Sofia Wind Farm 1400 MW

RWE’s Sofia offshore wind farm is being built on Dogger Bank, with power exported to Teesside through an offshore converter and subsea cable.[1]

Current position

All 100 turbines were installed by 10 June 2026; commissioning continues.
