Daubeny Buildings (EIT Oxford)

The Daubeny Buildings are three partly built research blocks at The Oxford Science Park, acquired by the Ellison Institute of Technology for its wider Oxford campus. The revised design connects them with two atriums; construction has been paused during the redesign.[1][2]

Current position

Delivery paused: Work was put on hold after EIT acquired the site and redesigned the partly built scheme; a restart and completion date have not been confirmed.

Mace will conclude its Daubeny phase by the end of 2026; the contractor for the next stage has not been named.

Benefits

  • The revised scheme is intended to provide linked laboratory and collaboration space for EIT research, reusing much of the existing concrete structure.
