The plans include a new 55,000 sq ft building and around 150 jobs over five years. Completion is targeted for Q1 2028; a further £6 million from Scottish Enterprise is planned separately.
£57m partnership backs GE Aerospace’s Prestwick expansion
GE Aerospace announced a £57 million partnership to expand and modernise its Prestwick engine maintenance, repair and overhaul site: £30 million from GE and £27 million through the Ayrshire Growth Deal.
