Smithgate Development
Smithgate is a regeneration partnership between Muse and Wolverhampton Council to create a new city-centre neighbourhood.[1]
Current position
Smithgate has detailed consent for its first phase and outline consent for later phases. Construction of the 331-home Bicycle Works first phase began in 2026; the remaining neighbourhood is phased.
Benefits
- Plans include around 1,000 homes, new shops, leisure uses and public spaces.
